This weekend we had the first of our Paws at Play winter shows. It's always nice doing a show at the venue where we train but with the downside of the extra stress of helping to make the show run smoothly.
Everyone had done a fantastic job preparing the school for the show, including raking the entire school to get the surface into tip top condition. But sadly the weather wasn't very kind and we had quite a lot of rain throughout the day. This didn't stop everyone having fun and overall the show was a huge success.
Ruby did some fantastic runs - we were even able to compete in the Beginners Agility as there wasn't a seesaw in the course. She managed a clear and I was so proud of her. She went on to get 2nd for the Beginner Steeplechase and Beginner Jumping.
Pepper was her usual exuberant self and we had a couple of poles down, but her contacts were amazing and giving me more confidence every time we compete. She won both of her Advanced Steeplechase runs.
So overall a fantastic day for us and the whole Paws at Play team.
