I spoke to both of the agility judges while walking the courses and they were very understanding, and said that I could run the first contact again, but would then be able to complete the course! I couldn't have asked for any more!
The fist run was the Combined G1-3 Agility - Pepper leapt the seesaw so we went back and did it again, she stopped beautifully. We continued round the rest of the course and she had fantastic contacts on the dog walk and the A-frame. She was speedy and paying attention so I was generally really happy!
Next was Grade 3 Agility - we set off and she stopped perfectly on the dog walk - I held the contact for a couple of seconds and then carried on - she was fantastic and finished the course clear. We were placed 2nd, 2 seconds behind the winner. I was absolutely delighted!
The final run was a Combined G3-5 Jumping - unfortunately Pepper knocked a pole but she was flying! We would have won by 3 seconds if she had been clear!
I couldn't have been happier with her - I think she's really starting to understand that she has to stop on her contacts at a show the same as she does in training! Fingers crossed we're heading in the right direction!
Here we are with out rosette and trophy:
