We ventured to Hankley Common today following a recommendation from a friend who had really enjoyed it, especially the lack of mud!
Sadly, our trip didn’t seem to be quite the same! A family I met in the car park gave me some directions for a circular walk, but I think they may have said left when they meant right, and after finiding myself completely lost, I had to retrace my steps making my walk significantly longer than I had planned!
Meanwhile, the mudmonsters were oblivious to the drama and were splashing about in every puddle they could find! Full baths were required when we finally made our way home - and a G&T for me!
We’ll have to go back to do some more exploring!
