We were entered into the Beginners classes - the pesky see-saw is still preventing me doing a full agility course!
It was a fun event, despite the occasional downpour, and was a good test to see how Pepper would concentrate with so many distractions. Our ring was alongside an equine event called Tent Pegging that involved a number of different rounds including one where balloons were being shot at while the rider was going over a small jump! Needless to say, we had to take a break from our running order while this was going on!
We had the Steeplechase and Jumping in the morning and Pepper ran two good clear courses. In the afternoon we had the two agility courses and picked up 10 faults on each run.
When the results were announced I was delighted that Pepper had been placed 2nd in Jumping, 3rd in Steeplechase and had also been placed 3rd in her first Agility round, even with 10 faults!
